Amazon Pay has come up with a solution to exchange your ₹2000 notes in a hassle-free way and it also saves you a visit to your bank branch to exchange your notes.

The e-commerce giant has been offering Amazon Pay Cash Load option by which cash can be deposited to your Amazon Pay balance account.

This can be done during the delivery of any order that is purchased via cash on delivery option. The purchased product should be eligible for cash load. A customer can handover the cash along with Rs 2,000 note to the delivery associate and get it deposited into Amazon Pay balance account.

Amazon pay has a load limit of Rs 50,000 per month. The loaded money can be used for online purchases, use Scan & Pay at stores, or shop on Amazon. The e-commerce giant has also claimed that the amount that is loaded can be transferred to bank accounts or to family & friends.

The Reserve Bank of India, last month had announced its decision to withdraw Rs 2,000 note from circulation and has given time till September 30 to exchange the notes.
