'If you really need that job, make sure you your resume stands out', That's a common saying among people who are looking for jobs. It turns out, this woman took the advice seriously and sent her resume printed on a cake directly to Nike.

Karly Pavlinac Blackburn posted to her LinkedIn and shared a detailed post on what prompted her to send her edible resume to Nike. She knew Nike was not hiring at the moment but “wanted to find some way for the team to know who I was”. She found out that the brand was having a huge celebration for Just Do It Day and what “better way than to send a cake to a big party.”

To deliver the cake, the woman choose a delivery service called Instacart where a woman called Denise delivered her cake. The delivery agent later told Karly that she inspired her.

Notably, while the woman did not get the job, she did impress quite a lot of people on the internet. Her post went immediately viral and received several likes and comments.

While some shared their own experiences, many also offered jobs to Karly.
