Ola to be probed by government, burning issues go viral

There are literally burning issues to be resolved at EV firm Ola as the video of an e-scooter up in flames went viral and the govt is now reportedly ordering a probe to investigate cause and safety measures.

In case you missed it here is a recap, on Saturday an Ola S1 Pro e-scooter that was parked on the side of a busy Pune road was spotted catching fire. As the video went viral the company said it is investigating the case and will share more on what exactly happened.

But even as the company continues it's internal investigation the govt is stepping in. Reports state that Ministry of Transport has written to the Centre for Fire Explosive & Environment Safety on e-scooter fire case to investigate case & submit findings. The ministry has also demanded Bhavish Agarwal backed Ola to submit findings of their internal investigations at the earliest.
