The Instagram-powered Threads has taken the world by storm since its release adding over 100 million subscribers in just 5 days. Now, the app has launched its first major update for iOS users.
The update comes shortly after Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg shared his vision for the platform and roadmap for the rest of the year. The updates that are launched are a part of the 292.0 version update which was confirmed by Threads developer Cameron Roth.

Threads developer Cameron Roth has also said that a user may have to restart the app if the updates are not visible or functioning or to wait until the end of the day.
"You may need to restart your app to see some of these or otherwise wait until the end of the day! We use a system of server-delivered flags which can take a while to fully release", said Roth.
Meta is yet to release an update for Android users.
