India's Online Shopping Hits ₹1 Lakh Crore, Festive Season Sales Break All Records: Report

69,800 crore rupees in 2022.81,000 crore rupees last year.

And a whopping one lakh crore rupees in 2024.

That's how festive season sales on e-commerce platforms have surged in just three years. What drove these record sales? Non-metro cities led the charge, while luxury brands saw massive demand.

The first half of the season alone brought over fifty percent sales. Though week 3 slowed down, Diwali week brought back the shopping fever, according to Datum Intelligence data reported by Economic Times.
