Ex RBI governor Raghuram Rajan warns against fake videos in his name offering investment advice

Former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan issued a warning on Monday about the proliferation of fake videos on social media platforms falsely attributing investment advice to him.

In a post on LinkedIn, Raghuram Rajan emphasized that these videos, which purportedly feature recommendations on specific stocks, are entirely fabricated.

Rajan, a respected economist, categorically stated that he does not provide investment guidance to the public and has never endorsed individual stocks.

Rajan, who previously served as the 23rd governor of the Reserve Bank of India, currently holds the position of distinguished professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
