Hold onto your seats, India! Elon Musk hints at the Starlink launch in India!

Musk has promised to "do the best to serve Indians," aiming to connect millions, especially in remote areas.

Could this be the dawn of a digital revolution?

This exciting development comes after a significant announcement from Union Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, confirming that the satellite communication spectrum in India will be allocated administratively rather than through an auction process.

Starlink, along with global companies like Amazon’s Project Kuiper, advocates for the administrative allocation of spectrum, aligning with international norms.

Elon Musk emphasized that the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), a UN agency to which India belongs, designates satellite spectrum as shared, meaning it should not be auctioned.
