Elon Musk has expressed his admiration for the growing presence of Indian-origin CEOs at the helms of global giants. Musk, recognized for his leadership of Tesla, Space X, and 'X' (formerly Twitter), lauded a recently published list by World of Statistics, highlighting the significant rise of Indian-origin individuals in top executive positions.
The list underscored the international landscape, showcasing several companies now led by Indian-origin CEOs. Prominent figures include Sundar Pichai of Alphabet, Satya Nadella of Microsoft, Neal Mohan of YouTube, and Shantanu Narayen of Adobe, overseeing major tech enterprises.
Newly added to this list is Ajay Banga, taking the role of 14th President of the World Bank Group. The compilation by World of Statistics also featured notable names like Laxman Narasimhan of Starbucks, Ravi Kumar S of Cognizant, and Sanjay Mehrotra of Micron Technology, each excelling in their domains.
Musk, known for his active engagement on the microblogging site 'X,' promptly acknowledged the list, terming it "Impressive."
In fact, just recently, Indian-origin Vaibhav Taneja became the new Tesla chief financial officer after Zachary Kirkhorn stepped down from his position.
