As India prepares for the consecration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya Today a wave of anticipation and festivity engulfs the nation. To mark this occasion, several state governments, institutions, and even private companies have announced holidays or partial closures, allowing people to participate in the celebrations.

Ram Temple Consecration Today, List of State Holidays and Closures:

Full Holiday: Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Gujarat

Half-Day Holiday: Rajasthan, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Odisha, Tripura, Madhya Pradesh

Normal Working Day: Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Delhi, Goa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, West Bengal

Private Companies Join the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishta Celebration:

While no comprehensive list of private companies offering holidays exists, several businesses, particularly in Ayodhya and surrounding areas, are expected to grant their employees either the full day or a half-day off to witness the ceremony. Some notable companies known to have declared holidays include:

Patanjali Ayurved: Offering all employees in Haridwar and nearby regions a full day off.

ITC Hotels: Granting half-day leave to employees in Uttar Pradesh hotels.

Ramji Group: Declaring a full holiday for all employees across India.

Reliance: Reliance Industries, headed by billionaire Mukesh Ambani, has declared a nationwide holiday today, in observance of the Ayodhya Ram Temple 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony.

Markets and Financial Institutions:

Local markets in Ayodhya and surrounding areas are likely to witness partial closures, with shops opting for shorter hours or observing the consecration ceremony itself.

National-level markets and stock exchanges will remain closed Today.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has declared a holiday for money markets and a half-day closure for banks and insurance companies. Individual institutions might adjust their timings further.

Central Government Offices Closed:

To enable employees to participate in the festivities, all central government offices across India will be closed for a half-day (until 2:30 PM).

Beyond Closures:

Many educational institutions have declared holidays or early dismissals.

Public transportation schedules in Ayodhya and surrounding areas might be modified to accommodate the influx of devotees.

Security measures have been significantly tightened across Ayodhya and other major cities to ensure peaceful celebrations.
