Budget 2024 | 'Will present roadmap for Viksit Bharat in July': FM confident of NDA's return

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said she would present a detailed roadmap to 'Viksit Bharat' or developed India in July.

"In the full budget in July, our govt will present a detailed roadmap for our pursuit of 'Viksit Bharat'," she said while presenting Budget 2024 in the Parliament.

The statement assumes significance as the Budget presented is interim, while the full Budget would be brought by the new government formed after the Lok Sabha elections.

With her statement making a reference to July, the finance minister exuded confidence in NDA's return to power after the elections.
