BSE board approves ₹374.80 crore share buyback at ₹816/share

BSE Ltd's board of directors has given their approval for a share buyback program valued at up to ₹374.80 crore, with each share priced at ₹816. This decision was revealed in a regulatory filing made by the company.

The buyback will be carried out through a tender offer, and the specific record date will be determined by the buyback committee.

The price set for the share buyback is ₹816 per equity share, which will result in a total buyback program worth ₹374.80 crore.

This program aims to repurchase 45,93,137 equity shares, which represents 3.39% of the total paid-up equity capital of the company as of March 31, 2023.

BSE had previously announced on July 3 that a board meeting would be held on July 6 to discuss the buyback. In addition, the company's board has appointed Nuvama Wealth Management Limited as the manager overseeing the buyback.
