New twist in the BharatPe saga, the company has fired head of control Madhuri Jain Grover weeks after she was sent on leave reportedly on the allegations of misappropriation of funds.
ET quoting unnamed sources said “It seems that the company has found certain financial irregularities in the company’s books and has strong proof on funds being ‘used’ for personal purchases."

Reports also indicate that invoices were made for recruitment via Shwetank Jain - who is Madhuri's brother but no offers or consultancy has been recorded.
Madhuri Jain Grover was sent on leave in January after Ashneer Grover announced his leave of absence.
