Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia has said that the National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2021, which provides room to give more power to Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor over the elected government shows that the Bharatiya Janata Party government is insecure with Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Sisodia said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to stop Arvind Kejriwal from developing the national capital and is insecure about all the work done by him.
'People have started saying that Arvind Kejriwal can be an option to Modi. The Bill has been brought to stop Kejriwal from moving ahead,' Sisodia added.
