As the Pegasus snoopgate row escalated on Monday, Congress and the BJP traded barbs over the leaked report on alleged hacking of phones of journalists, politicians and several others.

The Congress trained its guns at the BJP calling it the Bharattiya Jasoos Party. Hitting back, the BJP questioned the timing of the report and rejected the allegations of snooping. The Congress also demanded the resignation of home minister Amit Shah. The BJP returned fire by dubbing the opposition party a "supari agent".
