Richard Branson beats out the world's two richest men Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk to be the first to ride out into space as a 'space tourist' aboard the Virgin Galactic space craft Unity 22. And this has evoked responses from the on-looking billionaires.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos who takes off on July 20 for his space rendezvous also wished rival Branson all the very best on social media but not without a punch line. Bezos founded space firm Blue Origin took a jab at the Virgin Galactic's 100 km journey signalling it not really to be 'space travel' “For 96% of the world’s population, space begins 100 km up,” the company said.
In a Twitter exchange Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX said "Will see you there to wish you the best."
