In some relief for passengers travelling by air, the South Western Railway Zone of the Indian Railways has begun operating train services from Bengaluru city station to the Kempegowda International Airport Devanahalli Halt Station from today.
Three new pairs of Diesel electric Multiple Unit trains will run between the stations and tickets for a one way trip will cost anywhere between Rs 10 and Rs15.
2 existing trains will also have stops at the KiAD station. The first train will leave KSR for the airport at 4:45 am while the last the last train at 9 pm. The trains will run on all days except on Sundays.
