Bengaluru cancels licenses of 15 restaurants

Officials of the Bengaluru Civil Services Authority have canceled licenses for 15 restaurants in the city. Licenses for restaurants including Box-8, Andhra Ruchulu, Rooh, Punjabi Nawabi and Annan Mess were canceled due to unhygienic practices and dirt inside the restaurant and its kitchen. Officials of the BBMP Health Department said that between February and April, 8 surprise visits to different eateries and night clubs were conducted, out of which these restaurants were found in violation of sanitation norms.
