BCCI seek permission to have capacity crowd for World T20 final in Dubai

World T20, BCCI, Fans to return for World T20 final?, 

The BCCI is keen on having 25,000 people watching the World T20 final in Dubai and along with the Emirates Cricket Board has sought permission to have a capacity crowd at the Dubai International Stadium for the final on November 14. 

A source close to development told ANI that the board has already sought permission from the authorities and is now keeping its fingers crossed. It would be an electric atmosphere if permission is granted keeping all protocols in mind, he added. The UAE leg of the IPL has already seen a return of the fans in limited numbers, keeping all Covid-19 norms in mind. 

Though the World T20 is being held in Oman and UAE from October 17, but the hosting rights are still with the BCCI.
