Battlegrounds Mobile India currently allows users to transfer their old account data from PUBG Mobile, but the service will be shut temporarily from July 6.
Developer Krafton said in a notice on the BGMI website that the data transfer service will shut down temporarily due to some maintenance requirement.

The feature caused a controversy for the game as it was found to be sharing data to some servers in China. Krafton released an update to fix the data sharing.
They have not shared a date for the return of the data transfer feature yet.
