A cryptic teaser by a PUBG esports player has yet again teased a June 18 launch date for Battlegrounds Mobile India. The gamer, who goes by the name ‘Maxtern’, tweeted a binary code that translates to 18062021. IGN India had earlier reported a June 18 launch date as well.
The game is already up for pre-registration on the Google Play Store, but no official release date has been announced yet.
Krafton is the developer of the new game, which will feature gameplay similar to PUBG Mobile, which was banned by the government in September last year.
Battlegrounds Mobile India also touts an esports ecosystem, with tournaments and leagues planned for pro players.
