The iconic Camp Nou in Barcelona has seen many epic battles on the field and has now joined the cause to fight another one, probably on a different level. The stadium facility opened its doors on Friday as it became a covid-19 vaccination facility with an aim to provide over 7,500 people with a life-saving jab. Europe's largest football stadium will house healthcare workers from a local hospital and will be one of the many vaccination centres as the local authorities aim to inoculate over 5,00,000 citizens in a few weeks.
