The ban on international flights has been further extended till August 31, the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said.
The ban on international commercial flights to and from India was going to end on July 31.
However, international flights on selected routes on a case-to-case basis may continue to operate, the DGCA mentioned.
International flights have been banned since March 23 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
