After a goal-fest in the 1st game which saw Paris St Germain win 3-2, Bayern Munich fought hard to defeat their French rivals 1-0 in the 2nd leg in Paris. The lone strike of the match came from Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting who found the back of the net in the 1st half. PSG managed to prevent further damage as they kept the scoreline to 1-0 which meant that they advanced to the semifinals on the basis of the away goal rule.
