MJ from K-pop group 'Astro' has taken his nickname ‘happy virus’  to the next level.

MJ's solo debut has also been named 'Happy Virus' and it was released on Wednesday. ‘Get Set Yo’ the title track, is a trot song with an upbeat jazzy arrangement with brass instruments, which is made by none other than trot legend Young-tak. It also features child singer Kim Tae-yeon. As the title of the song suggests, the concept is bright and cheerful.

Astro is known to be the most diverse K-pop group with members who are popular idol actors like Eunwoo, MCs like Sanha and Moonbin and musical actors. In fact, MJ was roped in for the LGBT+ musical ‘Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’.
