Assam woman’s story of bravery has gone viral after she posted a video on Facebook and described how she caught a man who groped her in a busy Guwahati street.
In her Facebook post the woman, Bhavna Kashyap, detailed the incident, sharing her anger and disgust at the attacker, who groped her after stopping her to ask for directions.
She called the incident a ‘sudden sexual outburst of rage and aggression’ on her body
The woman held on to his scooty, lifted its rear tyre and dragged it into a ditch to stop him from driving off. She named the man and also shared a video.
The Guwahati Police has tweeted to inform that the man was arrested soon after the incident on July 30.
