How long after you have recovered from Covid-19 should you take the vaccine? Dr Harsh Mahajan, Founder Mahajan Imaging and President, NATHEALTH says as per the US CDC protocol, you must wait for 90 days after your recovery before you take the jab, whether its your first dose or second. If you have recovered from Covid-19, you already have antibodies which can provide you with immunity for a minimum of 90 days to up to 6 months or even longer.
