Amid concerning reports of many doctors dying of Covid-19, even after being vaccinated, doctors explain why breakthrough infections are still happening.

On today's episode of Ask The Doctor, Dr. Suneela Garg, Director, Professor & Head Community Medicine, Maulana Azad Medical College and Giridhara R Babu, Professor, Head-Lifecourse Epidemiology, PHFI (Public Health Foundation of India) tell why several factors have been to considered in case of breakthrough infections - whether both doses have been received, age of recipient, co-morbidities and allergic reactions that a person may have.

They assure that vaccines are life-saving and everyone should go get their shots since they will definitely prevent acute intensive care and hospitalisation.
