Stating that the national capital has recorded around 24,000 Covid-19 cases on Saturday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said the medical infrastructure is moving towards saturation.

Urging the Centre to reserve 50 per cent hospital beds for Covid-19 patients, the chief minister said Delhi has shortage of beds, oxygen and Remdesivir.

Terming the situation serious and concerning, Kejriwal said in a few days, the government will be able to add around 6,000 oxygen beds but this may not be enough as the infection is spreading at an unprecedented rapidity.
