Apple delays physical store launch in India due to Covid-19

Apple has delayed plans to launch its first official offline store in India due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the company told Gadgets 360. Apple CEO Tim Cook had announced last year that the company would open physical stores in India starting 2021.

Cook had said at the annual Apple shareholder meeting that he does not want ‘somebody else’ to run the brand. Apple launched its official online store in India in September 2020.
