A Taiwan-based cable and connector supplier for Apple will reportedly start mass producing parts for the American tech giant later this year, at its new plant in India. According to reports, Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co. has its new base set up in a plant near Chennai. It's worth noting that other major part makers for Apple like Foxconn, Pegatron and Wistron, also have a developing foothold in the country.
