Apple has banned anti-vax focused dating app ‘Unjected’ from the App Store. The app had promised ‘fulfilling friendships and love’ for people who have not been and do not intend to be vaccinated against Covid-19.
According to a Bloomberg report, the app had recently launched a social feed which was full of misinformation on Covid-19 vaccines. However this feature was soon taken down.

Apple has banned the app for violating its policies on spreading misinformation on the Covid-19 pandemic. The company also said the app tried to cheat App Store rules by encouraging users to help it dodge rules by avoiding the use of specific words.
The app remains up on the Google Play Store for now.
