Aparna Sen’s 'The Rapist' premieres at the Busan International Film Festival

National Award winning filmmaker Aparna Sen’s upcoming film 'The Rapist' had its world premiere at 26th Busan International Film Festival.

Starring Konkona Sen Sharma, Arjun Rampal and Tanmay Dhanania in lead roles, 'The Rapist' is a hard-hitting drama that shows how one incident changes the life of a rape survivor.

In the film, Konkona plays the role of the rape survivor, and she delivers yet another powerful performance, handling a sensitive role with expertise. Arjun Rampal plays the role of Konkona's husband in the film.

On the workfront, Arjun Rampal has a list of films in his kitty. He will be seen in spy thriller 'Dhaakad' along with Kangana Ranaut, Divya Dutta and Sharib Hashmi. He also has period war drama, 'The Battle of Bhima Koregaon', where he essays the role of Sidnak Mahar Inamdar.
