The Android 11 update rollout for the Xiaomi Mi A3 has reportedly been halted, after the update began bricking a large number of devices. Users complained on social media that attempting to upgrade to Android 11 bricked their Mi A3 smartphone, with some saying even a visit to the service center didn't solve the problem. Xiaomi has acknowledged the issue and says it's working to fix the trouble, but there's no word yet on how users with bricked devices will be compensated.
