Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed issues related to the state, including formation of 3 capital cities and fulfillment of promises made under AP Organisation Act. Reddy's meeting with the PM comes amid speculations that he may join the National Democratic Alliance.
Senior YSR Congress leader and Chief Whip in the Assembly G Srikanth Reddy had said on Monday that the party would only think about joining the BJP-led alliance if Andhra Pradesh is accorded special category status and all promises made in the AP Reorganisation Act are fulfilled.
