AMD has launched the Radeon RX 6600 XT mid-range GPU, targeting gamers who aim for high performance and high refresh rates at 1080p resolution.
According to AMD, the card is 15% faster than Nvidia’s competing GeForce RTX 3060, and 250% faster than the GeForce GTX 1060, which was launched in 2016 but remains the most popular dedicated GPU as per the Steam hardware survey.
The Radeon RX 6600 XT GPU is powered by AMD’s RDNA 2 architecture, will need to draw 160W of power, and come with 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM.
