Amazon has launched the next-generation Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition e-readers in India.
The new Kindle Paperwhite features a larger 6.8-inch glare-free display that it claims is 10% brighter over the previous generation. The Signature Edition can automatically adjust the display brightness based on ambient light.
The regular Paperwhite comes with 8GB storage, while the Signature Edition gets 32GB storage. Both e-readers have a claimed battery life of up to 10 weeks, and can charge fully in 2.5 hours.
The Signature Edition gets wireless charging support. The new Kindle Paperwhite is priced at ₹13,999 in India, while the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is priced at ₹17,999. Both models are up for pre-order starting today.
