Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar's mother Aruna Bhatia passed away on Wednesday morning.
She was admitted in Mumbai’s Hiranandani Hospital on Friday and was in critical condition.
The actor took to Instagram and shared the sad news with his fans and followers.
Stating that he feels an unbearable pain at the "very core" of his existence, Akshay in an emotional post said that his mother is now reunited with his father in the other world.
He said that he respects his fans and follower's prayers as he and his family go through this period.
Akshay Kumar, who was shooting for his film 'Cinderella' in the UK for the past couple of weeks, flew back in the wee hours on Monday after his mother was admitted to ICU.
