Virat Kohli will now return for the 2nd Test and lead the team with Rahane as his deputy. Apart from Rohit Sharma, senior members like Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd Shami, Rishabh Pant & Shardul Thakur were rested for both Tests vs New Zealand.

Citing fatigue after being knocked out of the World T20 recently, the players were promised workload management by BCCI.

The 1st Test vs the Kiwis will be played in Kanpur from November 25th & the 2nd will be played in Mumbai from 3rd December.
