In what may be a sign of times to come in a Taliban ruled Afghanistan, photos and posters of women outside establishments like beauty salons are being covered with paint across the country.
The news of such 'cover-up' first started trickling in on August 15 when Taliban took over Afghanistan - since then various photographs and videos of posters of women covered with paint have emerged.
Residents say that the images of women are being covered to hide their identity so that the Taliban doesn't target them.
