Adivi Sesh-starrer 'Major' is the latest film to postpone its release amid the rise in coronavirus cases in the country. The movie was earlier scheduled for release on July 2.
The producers say that a new release date will be announced 'once things are back to normal' and the team will celebrate when things get better.
'Major' is based on the courageous life of Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the NSG commando who rescued hostages from the clutches of terrorists in the Mumbai 26/11 attack and lost his life while trying to save the citizens.
'Major' also stars Saiee Manjrekar, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj among others in key roles.
