A statue of teen climate activist Greta Thunberg, recently installed at the University of Winchester in England, has sparked outrage among students.
The £24,000 statue is being labelled a 'vanity project' by students, who believe that the money could have been spent on something more substantial.
The statue is apparently the first life-sized one of the Swedish climate activist.
In its defence, the university authorities added that no money was 'diverted' from student support, for the project.
