A new children's book, called 'Prince with a Paintbrush: The Story of Raja Ravi Varma' will narrate the story of the celebrated Indian artist.
Written by author and poet Shobha Tharoor Srinivasan, the book is set to hit bookstores in April.
The book aims to tell young readers about how Raja Ravi Varma forayed into the world of art and came to be known as the 'father of modern Indian art'.
Varma also established India's first lithographic press, a step credited with making art affordable for masses.
