Around 40 crore people are still vulnerable to Covid-19 as a nationwide survey found that two-thirds or 67.6% of the country's population aged above six has coronavirus antibodies, the government said on Tuesday.
Sharing the results of the 4th National Sero Survey, the Health Ministry said that more than half of the children between 6-17 years were sero-positive.
According to the government, 85% of the surveyed healthcare workers had antibodies against Covid-19 and one-tenth of healthcare workers were still unvaccinated.

The survey was conducted in the 70 districts across 21 states where the previous three rounds had been carried out. It covered 28,975 general population and 7,252 healthcare workers.
