5G smartphones with Dimensity 1000+ chip coming in early 2021

Chipmaker MediaTek has said India could receive 5G-enabled smartphones running its Dimensity 1000+ flagship SoC from early 2021. Based on the 7nm process, the flagship chipset was launched in May, and comes with features like HyperEngine 2.0, UltraSave Technologies and MiraVision Picture Quality Engine support. It can also support up to 144Hz refresh rate displays, and claims to consume around 48% less power than its competitors.
