3-time Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka has pulled out of this year's Wimbledon due to a foot injury. The injury has also ruled him out of the ongoing French Open.

The Swiss former world number three underwent a surgery on his left foot earlier this year and hasn't played on the ATP Tour since his opening round defeat at the Qatar Open in March.

World number 24, Wawrinka is in rehabilitation at his base in Monaco and is hoping to regain fitness for the grasscourt season.
