The 2020 Land Rover Defender has been launched in India and prices for the SUV begin at Rs. 73.98 lakh, going all the way up to Rs. 90.46 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, India. While Land Rover India had announced more competitive prices for the Defender range in February this year, those prices were introductory and these are launch prices for the SUV. The new-generation SUV is offered in two versions - the Defender 90 three-door and the Defender One Ten five-door in the country. Bookings for the Defender One Ten opened earlier this year and deliveries will begin very soon. Meanwhile, bookings for the Defender 90 three-door only start now and deliveries will take place in early 2021. The Defender One Ten is offered with a 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol engine with 296 bhp and 400 Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The SUV also comes with electronic air suspension, configurable terrain response, all-wheel drive with a twin-speed transfer case and more. The new Land Rover Defender comes to India as a Completely Built Unit.
