The most awaited announcement was finally made on Friday as BCCI released the schedule for 2020 IPL. Defending champions Mumbai Indians will kick start the cash-rich league against the Chennai Super Kings on September 19 in Abu Dhabi. Unlike the previous editions, the games will start at 7:30 PM IST this time around. There will be 10 double-headers this season which are subject to change. Virat Kohli's RCB will play their first game on September 21. While Dubai will host 24 matches, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah will see 20 and 12 games respectively. Venues for playoffs and the final will be announced later.
