India recorded 2.11 lakh fresh Covid-19 infections and 3,847 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Union health ministry dashboard on Thursday morning. With this, the country's total infection tally has gone up to 2.73 crore and Covid toll has crossed 3.15 lakh.
The number of active cases has further come down to just over 24 lakh which is 9.19 per cent of the total infections. The national Covid-19 recovery rate has improved to 89.66 per cent, the govt has said.
