Former World number 1 and 2-time Grand Slam winner Naomi Osaka was fined $15,000 by the French Open officials for skipping her press duties at Roland Garros. Osaka who cited mental health reasons for not speaking to the media after her opening-round win at the French Open has decided to stick with her stance. Osaka's decision of not doing any press conferences or interviews at the French Open has been one of the biggest talking points at the tournament as the organisers had some pretty tough words for the 23-year-old. The organisers in a statement said that Osaka's behaviour will have further consequences including more substantial fines and future grand slam suspensions.
