All Indian cricketers who had undergone testing after a positive result of the team's physio, have tested negative and the 5th Test vs England in Manchester is likely to go ahead as per schedule. The negative reports have definitely improved the chances of the game taking place but according to PTI, a senior cricketer of the team has had his reservations keeping in mind the number of cases in the team.

Earlier head coach Ravi Shastri and the entire coaching staff tested positive and have been in quarantine since then.
Meanwhile, it has been learnt that Ravichandran Ashwin will finally get to play a Test match on the tour as he will replace Jadeja who will be rested. Bumrah too will be rested as a fit-again Mohd Shami will find a place in the Playing XI in Manchester.
